Day 01: Paro Airport-Thimphu

The very first rendezvous with the mesmerizing valleys of Bhutan will set the mood right, as you meet our representative at Paro Airport and drive to Thimphu Amankora. Take some rest, enjoy your lunch and start exploring the Bhutan’s entertaining traits at Folk Heritage Museum, National Textile Museum and other similar venues. Visit the iconic National Monument Chorten and wander through the markets full of interesting artefacts.

Day 02: Thimphu Sightseeing

A visit to the Trashi Chhoe Dzong is the best way to begin the day. Move on to explore the heart-warming Bhutanese arts of paper-making, carpentry, wood carving, casting, weaving and painting at the Zorig Chusum School. Spend another couple of hours visiting various museums and get set for an unforgettable hiking experience to the monasteries of Tango and Cheri. Retire to the lodge in the evening.

Day 03: Thimphu-Gangtey

Drive towards the unblemished exquisiteness of Phobjikha Valley, exploring the charismatic beauty of snow-clad peaks of Himalayas. Destinations on the way would include Dochula Pass, Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, Simtokha Dzong and Hong Tsho Monastery. The road leading through the luxuriant forests of oak and bamboo leads to Gangtey Goemba. Later check in at Gangtey Amankora resting on a knoll, before you get out for a refreshing walk.

Day 04: Phobjikha Valley Sightseeing

Feel blessed exploring the inimitable beauty of the valley, elaborated by bamboo and potato farms, eye-pleasing winding tracks and 360 degree views of lavishness. Visit the Black Neck Crane Centre to watch this amazing creature. Choose among trekking and mountain biking expeditions for an outstanding tryst with nature. Later visit the goemba before retiring to the lodge.

Day 05: Gangtey-Punakha

Gear up for another delightful journey as you are led to Punakha Valley. Check in at Punakha Amankora and enjoy your lunch. In the evening, you can explore some spectacular sights of temples and old monasteries via stimulating trekking expeditions. Prefer a revitalizing spa experience at the lodge before you go to sleep.

Day 06: Punakha Sightseeing

Trekking is definitely the most intriguing activity in Punakha. Choose the enthralling trekking trail to Khamsum Yuley Namgay Chorten, rising amidst different shades of green. Phuntsho Pelri Palace is the next destination which is located close to the dazzling Punakha Dzong. Spend some quality moments exploring the fortress, marvellously sitting on the riverside. Lobesa Village and Chimi Lhakhang (the fertility temple) are other destinations of the day before you get back to the lodge.

Day 07: Punakha-Paro

The final destination of the tour is Paro Valley, known for its sacred sites and beauty of blue pines. Check in at Paro Amankora and plan small exploration of the structures scattered in different parts of the town.

Day 08: Paro Sightseeing

Begin early in the morning with a visit to Bhutan’s National Museum at Ta Dzong. Admire the architectural brilliance of Bhutan at Paro Dzong before having lunch. Be prepared for the most amusing part of the tour – the hiking expedition to Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang Monastery).
