After settling in, embark on a short tour to explore the charming town of Paro and its cultural landmarks. If your flight arrives early, you’ll have the opportunity to visit sites such as Rinpong Dzong and Paro National Museum. You can even enjoy a delightful 1-hour hike over Zuri Dzong before returning to your hotel to relax and rejuvenate overnight. Otherwise, if your flight is late afternoon site visit will be adjusted in later days.
Day 2 : To Punakha, the old capital of Bhutan (Approx. Alt: 1200m. Dist. 115 Km)

Day 3 : Hike & Explore Punakha (Approx. Alt: 1200m. Hike Dist. 2 Hours)
Exploring the traditional farming villages and witnessing the agrarian way of life is a captivating experience. Drive to north of farmhouse to Talo to start your hike. As you trek from Talo to Punakha, you will pass through charming traditional villages, providing an opportunity to interact with locals and experience their way of life. On you trail you may get opportunities to spot various plant and animal species native to the region. Keep an eye out for colorful birds and other wildlife during the hike. Later in afternoon visit Punakha Dzong also known as the “Palace of Great Happiness,” is one of Bhutan’s most iconic and historically significant dzongs (fortresses). Overnight in Hotel.
Day 4 : Punakha-Thimphu
Today, we will embark on a scenic drive to Thimphu, the captivating capital of Bhutan. In the afternoon, we’ll have the opportunity to explore the city’s rich cultural heritage by visiting local monuments, such as the Memorial Chorten and Tashi Choe Dzong and may visit Thimphu Township on foot. As the day comes to a close, we’ll indulge in the flavors of traditional Bhutanese dishes and immerse ourselves in the vibrant cultural show. Day 5 : Hike to Phajoding and then to Tsaluna ( Overnight CAMP) (Approx.Alt: 2750 Hike Dist. 6 KM)
Today we begin our small trek just outside of Thimphu. We will begin with a 5km hike uphill that starts at around 2700m and arrives at the Phajoding Monastery (3650m) after about 3hrs. Phajoding is a monastic complex with temples and retreat houses with great views. Here we will spend some time before embarking on the next portion of the trek to the Pumola pass (3750m) and then we will make a steep descent into the Tsaluna valley for about 6km. This is a full-day hike. Tonight we will overnight in the comfort camp (2750m).
Day 6 : Hike to Jele Dzong & to Paro (Approx.Alt: 2200 Hike Dist. 5 KM)
Today will be another day full of trekking with remarkable views. From the campsite, we will gradually climb to Jele Dzong (3600 m) which takes about 4 hours. Jele Dzong is an ancient fortress that is now a small monastery. From here, there is a spectacular view of both Paro valley and Tsaluna valley and to the far north, you can also see the snowcapped peaks. From here we will start our descent from Jele Dzong to the road head which is approximately 4-5km and takes around 2-3hrs. Here you will meet your driver and drive to the hotel in Paro.
Day 7 : Hike to Taktsang (Approx.Alt: 2200 Hike Dist. 3 Hours)
After an early breakfast, you will hike to the legendary Tiger’s Nest Monastery, clinging on a rock cliff 900 meters above the valley floor. According to the legend, it is believed that Guru Rimpoche, the 8th century Spiritual Master flew to this location on the back of a tigress to subdue the demons of Paro Valley. The guru then meditated in the holy cave that is the site of the monastery today. Overnight hotel in Paro.
