Detailed Itinerary

Day-1: Paro Airport to Punakha- And beyond Lodge Punakha (3 Hrs Drive)

Welcome at Paro International Airport and Drive to Punakha,  on arrival at & Beyond Lodge, traditional warm welcome and followed by soft welcome drink and enjoy the dinner at Lodge. Overnight Stay at And beyond Lodge PunakhaDay-2: Punakha- And beyond Lodge Punakha

Short morning hike to Khamsum Yuelley chorten with a packed breakfast. Optional rafting trip on the Pho Chu river after the hike. Followed by a visit to Punakha Dzong. Afternoon visit to the nunnery. Return to Lodge and evening experience the Spa at Lodge and some resorts activities.  Overnight Stay at And beyond Lodge Punakha

Day-3: Punakha to Hokatsho Hike

Full day hike to Hokatsho lake with a packed lunch, enjoy the lunch and after completing Hike back to Your Lodge. Overnight Stay at And beyond Lodge Punakha.

 Day-4: Punakha to Phobjikha Valley ( Gangtey)- Gangtey Lodge

Transiting from Punakha to Gangtey, your route follows through the bamboo and oak forests of Nobding Valley, eventually leading you to Lawa la Pass. As you climb upwards keep an eye out for the yak that grazes along the route. Continue to drive towards Phobjikha Valley, which is situated at 9,500 feet (2,900 meters). Upon arrival at the Lodge enjoy lunch meals in the Lodge Restaurant. Later Black-necked Crane conservation center dedicated to protecting Thrung Trung Karmo, as these vulnerable birds are known in the Kingdom. The valley is the winter residence for approximately 400-500 cranes who migrate here from Tibet each year between October and March. Later return to the lodge where you can enjoy a hot-stone bath lodge before your dinner (Extra Cost). Overnight Stay at  Gangtey Lodge.

Day-5: Phobjikha Valley ( Gangtey)- Gangtey Lodge

Gangtey Exploration Approx. Alt: 3000m. Dist. NA

Today your make sure to raise early to visit Shedra for Early Morning Prayers ($ 20++ per person) and time with Buddhist Monks followed by Spiritual Cleansing ($ 70++ per person). Return to your lodge for morning breakfast, after breakfast you can hike from the lodge. This leisurely walk for about thirty minutes from a hilltop overlooking Gangtey Goemba, descents downhill through flower fields to Semchubara village and serene forests leading into the open valley. The trail passes via a Chorten and Khewa Lhakhang leading towards the local community school. Return to the lodge for lunch and later visit Gangtey Gompa, an important monastery of Nyingmapa school of Buddhism, which is one of the main seats of the religious tradition based on Pema Lingpa’s revelations. Gangtey Goemba is the landmark structure of Phobjikha valley. Evening meditation class at the Shedra (5:30 PM) is a complimentary service –Need to inform 6 hours ahead, so they may arrange this for you. All donations to the Shedra are very welcome. Day-6: Gangtey – Longteng (hiking )

Half day Longteng hike in the morning. Afternoon at leisure.

Day-7: Phobjikha Valley ( Gangtey)- Gangtey Lodge- Paro Valley

Drive from Phobjikha to Paro (5 hours). Afternoon visit to the National Museum and a local farmhouse, enjoy the Local traditional Hot Stone bath, back to lodge and explore inhouse amenities such as spa and massage etc. Overnight Stay at Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary Paro

Day-8: Paro- Tiger Nest-Paro

Hike to Taktshang Lhakhang (Tiger’s nest),Take a day hike to the ‘Tiger’s Nest’, the sacred Taktshang monastery, and have lunch at the Taktshang cafeteria. On the way back you can visit Dumtse Lhakhang, a temple built by Thangthong Gyalpo, the iron bridge builder. Overnight Stay at Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary Paro

Day-9: Paro- Haa Valley- Chele La Pass-Paro

Chele La Pass is one of the highest road points in Bhutan and offers breathtaking views of the mountains. It is situated at an elevation of 3,988 meters/13,084 feet between the Paro and Haa valleys. The drive to Chela La Pass from Paro is as charming as the Mountain Pass itself. Post the pass you descend and gradually enter the Haa valley. Explore Places and countryside and do the photography etc, if you wish our guide will organize the  hiking according to your comfort and time. Return to Paro Valley by early evening and do  the traditional hot stone bath etc get relaxed and return back to lodge. Overnight Stay at Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary Paro

Day-10: Paro- Departure Transfer to
