Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Phuentsholing / Jaigaon

Upon arrival at Hasimara Railway Station, you’ll be greeted by our representative who will escort you to your hotel in Phuentsholing or Jaigaon. Phuentsholing and Jaigaon are neighboring cities, with Phuentsholing located in Bhutan and Jaigaon situated across the border in India. Enjoy a visit to the Amo Chhu crocodile breeding center and the iconic Bhutan Gate. After checking in at the hotel and obtaining the Inner Line Permit, you’ll have the evening at leisure to relax. Spend the night in Phuentsholing.

Day 2: Transfer to Thimphu

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic 6-hour journey to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. En route, stop for lunch and admire the picturesque landscapes of dense coniferous forests and valleys. Upon reaching Thimphu, check in at the hotel and freshen up. You’ll have the option to explore Thimphu’s bustling market area and savor local delicacies. Spend the night in Thimphu.

Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing & Transfer to Paro

Begin the day with breakfast before embarking on a sightseeing tour of Thimphu. Visit the Memorial Chorten, Mothitang Takin Preserve, BBS Tower, National Textile Museum, and Thimphu Dzong. Marvel at the monumental architecture and ancient artifacts of Thimphu Dzong, also known as Trashichhoe Dzong. Later, proceed to Kuensal Phodrang Nature Park to admire the magnificent statue of Sakyamuni Buddha. After sightseeing, journey to Paro, which takes approximately 2 hours. Check in at the hotel upon arrival and spend the night in Paro.

Day 4: Paro Exploration

After breakfast, embark on a memorable Paro sightseeing tour. Trek or ride a pony to the iconic Taktsang Monastery, famously known as Tiger’s Nest, perched on a cliff. Explore Paro Dzong, also known as the Fortress on a Heap of Jewel, and admire its architectural beauty. Enjoy leisure time to soak in the local traditions and surroundings. Spend the night in Paro.

Day 5: Departure

After an early morning breakfast, depart from Paro for Hasimara Railway Station, which is approximately a 6-hour drive away. Marvel at the mesmerizing landscapes of Paro as you bid farewell to the magical kingdom of Bhutan.
