What To Expect:
Day 1: Paro-Thimphu (55Km/1Hour)
1. Tashichho Dzong: “Explore the seat of the Royal Government and Central Monastic Body at Tashichho Dzong, where you can witness the ceremonial lowering of the flag.”
2. Buddha Dordenma: Explore the giant Buddha Statue overlooking the Thimphu valley, offering blessings of peace and happiness.
3. Thimphu Chorten (Memorial Chorten): Experience the local ambiance as you witness Bhutanese citizens prostrating and circumambulating around the temple.

Day 2: Thimphu-Phobjikha (135 KMS/5-6 HOUR)
1. Dochula Pass: Stop at the pass to admire the 108 chortens and panoramic views of the Himalayas.
2. Gangtey Valley Exploration: Embark on a nature trail hike through pine forests, with the chance to spot endangered Black Neck Cranes.
3. Gangtey Monastery: Participate in evening prayers and discussions on Buddhism with monks, followed by dinner.

3. Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten: Hike to the magnificent chorten built by the Queen Mother, offering panoramic views of the valley.

Day 5: Punakha to Paro (120KMS/4HRS)

Day 6: Paro Taktsang Hike (4-6 HOURS)
1. Paro Taktsang: Embark on a hike to the iconic Taktshang Monastery, known as the Tiger’s Nest, perched on a cliffside.
2. Kyichu Lhakhang: Visit one of the oldest temples in Bhutan, steeped in history and spiritual significance.
3. Dzongdrakha Temple: Detour to another holy site in Paro, known for its meditation caves and serene surroundings.
