Day 01: Flight to Chitwan and Arrival at Resort
Your adventure begins with an early breakfast at your hotel before heading to the airport for a morning flight to Chitwan. The flight lasts about 25 minutes, and upon arrival at Bharatpur Airport, you will be greeted by our local representative. From here, a private vehicle will take you to your resort, with an opportunity to explore local street food stalls on the way via two different routes—Rampur Road or Gitanagar Road. Once you arrive at the resort, you will be welcomed with a traditional Nepali greeting.
The afternoon will be spent relaxing and exploring the nearby surroundings of the resort. At 3:00 PM, you’ll embark on a boat safari along the Rapti River with an expert naturalist, providing you with insights into the local wildlife and plants. The safari will last around 2-3 hours. Afterward, enjoy a serene outdoor dinner by the river, accompanied by a bonfire and a cultural Tharu dance performance, giving you a taste of the local traditions.

Day 02: Boat Safari and Tharu Village Walk
After a hearty breakfast at 10:30 AM, you’ll set off for a boat safari on the Rapti River, where you can spot exotic bird species along the banks and possibly some reptiles like the mugger and gharial crocodiles. The safari will last approximately 2-3 hours. The boat will take you to the confluence of the river, where you can enjoy a peaceful sundowner at the resort’s scenic spot.
In the afternoon, after enjoying a pre-made lunch, you’ll head out to the local Tharu community. Here, you’ll witness the traditional lifestyle of the Tharu people, including their unique architectural art called Mokha art. The village walk will give you insight into their everyday life, lasting around 2-3 hours.
In the evening, you’ll return to the resort for a warm dinner, followed by a Kumal cultural dance performance, giving you further exposure to the rich cultural heritage of the region.

In the afternoon, return to the resort for a well-deserved lunch and relaxation. At 3:00 PM, you’ll go for a jungle walk, where you’ll explore the flora and fauna in the company of elephants. This walk is also a great opportunity for birdwatching and learning more about the ecosystem of the region, lasting about 2-3 hours.
As evening approaches, you’ll enjoy a cultural Tharu or Kumal dance performance, where local farmers showcase their traditional skills. This is followed by an authentic Nepali dinner to end your day on a cultural note.
Day 04: Departure from Chitwan
On your final morning, you will take a short walk around a nearby Tharu village, experiencing the rural lifestyle and scenic beauty of the area. The walk will last around 1-2 hours before returning to the resort for breakfast. Afterward, you will check out of the resort and be transferred to Bharatpur Airport in a private vehicle for your return flight.
Upon arriving back in Kathmandu, a representative will be waiting to escort you to your residence, marking the end of your memorable trip to Chitwan.
