Day 1: Arrival in Paro

Your Bhutan Luxury Tour begins with your arrival in Paro, a picturesque valley surrounded by towering mountains. Upon landing, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, visit the National Museum to gain insights into Bhutan’s rich heritage, followed by a stroll around Paro town. Conclude the day with a traditional Bhutanese dinner to prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Acclimatization and Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery

Acclimatization is key before starting the trek, and what better way than a hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery, also known as the Tiger’s Nest. Perched on a cliff 900 meters above the valley floor, this sacred site offers spectacular views and a serene environment for reflection. Return to Paro for a restful evening.

Day 3: Paro to Shana (Trailhead) – Trek Begins

Day 5: Thangthangkha to Jangothang

As you trek further, the landscape opens up, revealing expansive meadows dotted with grazing yaks. The highlight of the day is the arrival at Jangothang (4,080 meters), your campsite for the night. Nestled below Mount Jhomolhari, this is one of the most stunning locations on the trek, offering unparalleled views of the snow-capped peaks.

Day 6: Rest and Acclimatization at Jangothang

Take a day to rest and acclimatize at Jangothang. Explore the surrounding area with optional hikes to nearby glacial lakes or simply soak in the majestic views of Mount Jhomolhari and Jichu Drake. This day also provides an opportunity to interact with local yak herders and learn about their nomadic lifestyle.

Day 7: Jangothang to Lingshi via Nyelela Pass

The trail offers stunning panoramic views of the Himalayan range before descending into the picturesque village of Lingshi. Day 8: Lingshi to Chebisa

Day 9: Chebisa to Shomuthang via Gobu La Pass

Day 11: Robluthang to Lemithang

The trail descends into the lush valley of Lemithang, passing through forests of juniper and fir. This is another beautiful campsite that promises a restful evening.

Day 12: Lemithang to Gasa Hot Springs
